Duke special - everybody wants a little something

More distinctions become apparent when fired up and moving down the road. The engine of the XS feels like it uses a heavy flywheel, as it picks up revs much slower than the XSR. Still, the motor and its 120-degree crank sounds largely similar to the XSR, but with a significantly lower rev limit of 7500 rpm. The XS’s driveline operates with a lack of refinement. Its clutch is grabby, and its gearbox requires unhurried and deliberate actions compared to anything modern. Ride modes are the responsibility of a rider’s wrist rotating the longest throttle turn I’ve ever experienced.

there’s no excuses i can see
but love is hard to do
i’ve read a book or two
but our story works as long as you
don’t settle for the best
choose me above the rest
but i want you to be sure about it

In 1925, he was introduced to Gabrielle ("Coco") Chanel after a party in Monte Carlo and pursued her. He was as extravagant with her as he was with all of his lovers. He purchased a home for Chanel in London's prestigious Mayfair district, and in 1927 gave her a parcel of land on the French Riviera at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin where Chanel built her villa, La Pausa . His romantic liaison with Chanel lasted ten years. [13] An illustration of both Westminster’s extravagance and orchestrated technique in the courting of women has endured in the form of various apocryphal stories. He purportedly concealed a huge uncut emerald at the bottom of a crate of vegetables delivered to Chanel. Disguised as a deliveryman, Westminster appeared at Chanel’s apartment with an enormous bouquet of flowers. His ruse was only uncovered after Chanel’s assistant offered “the delivery boy” a tip.

After the cancellation of The Patty Duke Show in 1966, Duke began her adult acting career by playing Neely O'Hara in Valley of the Dolls (1967). The film was a box-office success, but audiences and critics had a difficult time accepting all-American-teenager Duke as an alcoholic, drug-addicted singing star. While the film has since become a camp classic  — thanks in large part to Duke's over-the-top performance [14]  — at the time, it almost ruined her career. In 1969, Duke starred in Me, Natalie , a film in which she played an "ugly duckling" Brooklyn teenager struggling to make a life for herself in the Bohemian world in Greenwich Village . Duke won the Golden Globe for Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) for the role. [15]

Rocky : During this fight, I've seen a lot of changing, in the way you feel about me, and in the way I feel about you. In here, there were two guys killing each other, but I guess that's better than twenty million. I guess what I'm trying to say, is that if I can change, and you can change, everybody can change!
